Our delivery policy
Because of the unique way the Futura Emporium operates, the delivery of your goods is carried out directly by
the people who make it. This means that in order to cover our costs we need to attach a separate and unique
delivery charge to each and every item you purchase. In return for this minor inconvenience we promise that
each item you purchase will be lovingly and individually packaged and hot-footed direct to your door. However
should you wish to purchase more than one item from a particular collection in some cases it may be possible
to offer you a super-duper discounted delivery rate. Please contact us prior to purchase for further details.
Delivery services
Small items delivered both within the UK and internationally will normally be sent via Royal Mail or ParcelForce,
using a trackable system. Bigger or more fragile stuff (particularly furniture) may need to be delivered by courier.
In these cases we will contact you to arrange a convenient time for delivery. A signature will be required
for all deliveries.
Delivery rates
Where humanly possible we try to quote delivery prices for each product onsite at the checkout. Our delivery rates
are charged at cost and are specific to each item and your location, so that you pay the very cheapest price possible.
The rates are totted up according to the most appropriate delivery service for your particular item and your chosen
destination.
In some cases we may require more specific information to calculate your delivery charge, (particularly for big stuff).
Special products like this will be marked as 'Call for Delivery' and will require you to contact us for a
delivery quotation, either by calling 020 7608 1616 or emailing
customerservices@futuraemporium.com
You can process your order before contacting us for a quotation, in which case the payment for your goods will be
deferred. This means that although we've received your order, your card won't be charged for the goods until you
have accepted the delivery cost. If you decide not to go ahead when we've given you the quotation, we can cancel
the whole order before it hits your card. If you agree to accept the delivery charge then we'll just process it
separately on your behalf.
Alternatively you can just call us for a quotation without having to order online and if you agree to accept
the delivery charge then we can process your entire order right then and there for you over the phone.
Despatch times
Delivery despatch times will vary from product to product, as the fulfillment is dealt with by individual suppliers. You
can find out specific depatch information by clicking on the 'View Details' button under the item you wish to purchase.
Generous, helpful people that we are, we will try and accommodate special cases as best we can. If for any reason you need
the item in a spectacular hurry (you've forgotten your girlfriend's birthday or something equally as life-threatening),
just let us know and if at all possible we'll try to scoot it over to you in time to save your bacon.
Out of stock?
Due to the fabulously exclusive nature of the Futura Emporium, many of our products are one-offs. This means that
another eager beaver may snap up your choice item before you. We do our very best to remove or highlight one-off items
from the site once sold. However we are incredibly busy people, so if you do manage to beat us to it, we'll contact you
to either arrange for a full refund, or if at all possible we will explore heaven and earth to find you another product
that fits the bill. For items that are temporarily out of stock, we will try and give you an idea of the expected
delivery date and if you just can't wait that long you are always free to cancel your order and receive a full refund. |
